Within Citi, the Global Infrastructure Defense Security Engineering Team is focusing on designing, developing, testing and architecting Citi’s next generation cyber security solutions across the globe. In this role you will be responsible to research, develop and certify security strategies, products, architectures and best practices. You will also be responsible to define and influence key security strategy initiatives and deliver security solutions that will adhere to all enterprise security requirements with a potential to influence industry wide roadmaps.
Job Responsibility:
Define Enterprise Cyber Security Strategies, vision, roadmap and direction including critical products and solutions
Lead the design, own and innovate Citi’s Edge Security Platforms and Ecosystems, such as WAF, CDN, Telemetry and Observability from External Vantage Points
Deliver end-to-end service monitoring capability focusing on resiliency and availability of client facing services
Work with Transformation Program Directors, Senior Architects, Steering Committees on execution of perimeter security and edge security programs
Work with global cyber security industry partners on influencing next generation cyber technology, take part in related R&D efforts
Be responsible for inventory, accuracy and engineering excellence activities for assigned services and products
Do hands-on lab testing of emerging cyber security technologies with using end to end architecture readily available in the lab
Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, ensure close co-operation with major suppliers and security companies
Write and publish designs, architecture standards, test results and best practice guides for the global audience
Call out and identify risk and exposure as it relates to products and architectures from a security and threat perspective
Proactively participate in enterprise security work groups and teams to come up with innovative ideas and drive them to execution
Lead and influence a virtual global team, act as a senior subject matter expert for subject security technologies and disciplines
Requirements:
5-8 years of experience with multiple security disciplines and strong understanding of layered defense concepts
Deep understanding of TCP/IP technologies and knowledge of network routing protocols
Experience defining enterprise security strategy and ecosystem across diverse products
Strong hands-on experience with firewall and proxy technologies
Large Scale Network and Security design experience is essential
Work with and understand regulatory and risk management requirements
Strong unix / linux experience
Scripting (Python/Perl/Bash)
University / College degree in any STEM area or equivalent industry/technology knowledge
