Job Description:

We are looking for people to work with clients in the above mentioned locations and surrounding areas. As our Senior Ecological Consultant at RSK Biocensus you can expect to get involved with the delivery of elements of field surveys, assessment, tender and report writing and project management, on various nationwide and local projects. You will also be responsible for managing and overseeing medium/large projects and tenders from commencement to completion and close-out.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing medium-sized projects, including finance, resource allocation, managing sub-contractors, risk and quality assurance, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication, and seeking and responding to client feedback
  • Completing fieldwork, including out-of-hours surveys, travelling as required and working away from home
  • Overseeing aspects of site work and undertaking practical elements of habitat management or creation, under supervision
  • Assisting with the delivery of survey and research reports, to include document reviews, statistical analyses, licence applications, reporting, etc

Requirements:

  • 1st Degree in relevant discipline or Vocation qualification
  • 5 Years specific relevant experience
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Associate membership with CIEEM
  • Abide by CIEEM’s Code of Professional Conduct

Species specific personal licences are desirable
