Job Description:

Tecolote is searching for a Senior Earned Value Management Analyst to provide Earned Value Management (EVM) support to our government customers, to include analysis on monthly Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) or Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR) from development contractors.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide Earned Value Management (EVM) support to government customers
  • Perform analysis on monthly Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) or Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR) from development contractors
  • Work closely with Government Program Office teams and contractors
  • Work on-site with the customer at a secure facility at Space Systems Command (SSC)
  • Support the management of major Air Force and Space Force programs at SSC
  • Perform EVM analysis and communicate results to program managers to inform decision-making
  • Plan, Participate, and sometimes lead Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) activities
  • Prepare briefings, management plans, and technical reports for the customer
  • Instruct/mentor project officers on EVM policies, processes, and procedures

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of Earned Value Management (EVM) and Program Control experience, preferably with the Department of Defense or commercial aerospace programs
  • Demonstrate analytic and presentation skills
  • Proficient with EVM systems software tools, such as wInsight
  • Possess extensive knowledge of EVM industry standards and practices
  • Experience leading and supporting Compliance Analysis, Performance Analysis, Predictability Analysis, Integrated Baseline Reviews, and EVM specific training
  • Familiarity with systems engineering principles and practices
  • Experience with large-scale development and test programs, risk analysis, and cost estimating
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
  • Willing and able to work in secure facilities (e.g. a SCIF or SAPF)
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences

Nice to have:

  • Prior work at Space Systems Command (SSC) and/or space programs is preferred
  • PowerBI proficiency highly desirable
