Job Responsibility:
Lead the development of Drupal 9/10 websites and custom modules
Collaborate with UX, design, and strategy teams to scope and shape digital products
Architect and implement scalable back-end solutions, including API integrations and content modeling
Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed development plans
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with an emphasis on performance and security
Maintain and upgrade existing Drupal installations
Support DevOps processes including CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment workflows
Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical standards within the team
Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues
Stay current with Drupal community updates and contribute where relevant
Requirements:
Extensive professional experience with Drupal development
Expertise in Drupal 9/10 site building, theming, and custom module development
Strong PHP development skills and understanding of modern OOP patterns
Experience with Composer, Drush, Twig, Symfony components
Proficient in HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/SCSS), JavaScript, and responsive web practices
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, headless CMS approaches, and integrations
Familiarity with Git-based workflows and agile development practices
Experience working in a digital agency or fast-paced multi-project environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Nice to have:
Acquia Certified Drupal Developer or similar certification
Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Vue) or decoupled Drupal setups
Familiarity with Docker or other containerisation tools
Exposure to CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, or Jenkins
Contribution to Drupal community (modules, patches, forums) is a plus
