Job Description:

Make your mark as Senior Draughtsperson for Boskalis Subsea Services located in Aberdeen. You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive draughting support to the business, ensuring all outputs meet required standards of quality, efficiency, and timeliness. The role includes the supervision, mentoring, and ongoing development of draughtspersons, as well as contributing to their formal training. The position is accountable for ensuring that all draughting activities are executed to a high standard and completed within agreed timeframes and budgetary constraints.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise and report on progress, quality of work and results
  • Interface with all departments and levels effectively
  • Prioritise project workload and allocate resources accordingly
  • Advise line manager on possible resource or skill shortages
  • Ensure that all draughting is executed quickly and efficiently, is of a high quality and in compliance with the relevant industry codes and standards
  • The provision of draughting support and checking
  • Aid in the preparation of Cost, Time, Resource Analysis (CTR’s)

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience as Senior Draughtsperson in a Subsea/Oil and Gas Capacity
  • Applicable experience supervising a team
  • Proficient in the use of Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Vault software and MS365 applications
  • Excellent Communication and Organisational skills
