They have a longstanding pedigree in some of the most high profile and technically complex infrastructure projects in the country and the world. The role: Due to organic growth and several project wins they are currently searching for an experienced Senior Drainage Engineer to join their Brisbane transport team. You will play a key role in the design and delivery of high-profile technical roads and infrastructure projects throughout Australia, you will be part of a dynamic and close-knit civil team. The business as a whole is growing, and reporting to the Highways Divisional Manager you will be able to take on more responsibility if you wish, as well as being a mentor to up and coming Engineers and Designers.

Requirements

  • 5 years + experience in consultancy

  • Produce technical drawings and specifications
  • Liaise with clients, local authorities, water companies, and other stakeholders to secure technical approvals (S104, S106, S185, SAB, LLFA, etc)
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians
  • Prepare fee proposals and invoices, monitor budgets and deadlines
  • Attend design team and site meetings and provide technical support during construction phases
