Mujin is the future of industrial robotic systems in production and distribution environments. Our technology gives robots perception and awareness, enabling them to take on more advanced tasks. We are seeking a Senior Documentation Engineer to own system-level documentation for delivered robotic systems. This role is critical to execution success: ensuring all required documentation is accurate, complete, and fully aligned with the final shipped configuration before shipment and installation. This position sits at the boundary between Engineering, Service, and Site/Startup teams. You will not generate original system designs—but you will ensure that what ships can be installed and started up without documentation gaps, rework, or on-site corrections. Documentation readiness is not optional—it is an execution requirement.
Job Responsibility:
Own system manuals and installation documentation for delivered Mujin systems
Ensure documentation reflects the final, as-shipped configuration
Drive documentation to full completeness prior to shipment and install
Establish documentation readiness as a non-negotiable execution gate
Source and synthesize technical content from Engineering teams
Deliver completed documentation to Service and Site/Startup teams
Enable installs and startups to execute without correcting documentation onsite
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field (Equivalent practical experience will be considered)
Experience in industrial automation, material handling, robotics, or integrated systems
Prior exposure to installs, startups, commissioning, or service environments
Proven ability to own completeness and drive closure without formal authority escalation
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment
