Job Description:

As a Senior Distributor Executive, you will lead and manage a distributor sales team within a designated territory. Your primary goal is to drive sales growth, optimize coverage, ensure product visibility, and increase market share. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional business acumen, and a deep understanding of FMCG operations, working capital, and ROI.

Job Responsibility:

  • Translate monthly priorities and company strategy into actionable plans
  • Set and monitor sales targets for assigned distributors
  • Guide front-line distributor teams in identifying opportunities, negotiating, and closing deals
  • Conduct regular market visits to ensure product availability, visibility, and campaign execution
  • Analyze market data and sales reports to identify trends and opportunities
  • Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing distributor sales team
  • Set clear performance expectations and conduct evaluations
  • Provide coaching and feedback to maximize team performance
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and partners
  • Monitor satisfaction and address concerns promptly
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities
  • Implement effective outlet coverage and monitor PJP/frequency settings
  • Improve Field Capability Score (FCS) KPIs
  • Prepare accurate forecasts, promotion plans, and reports
  • Analyze sales data and competitor performance for improvement plans
  • Support monthly business reviews and ensure KPI delivery
  • Assist in distributor ROI and working capital analysis for healthy cash flow

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or related roles, preferably in FMCG
  • Strong fundamentals in sales operations and disciplined execution
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong customer relationship and negotiation abilities
