Job Description:

The Senior Distribution Operations Manager is a senior individual contributor responsible for independently driving end-to-end operational delivery of Disney+ content globally across multiple pipelines including Originals, Trailers & Special Looks, Podcasts, and ESPN content. This role ensures every title is technically accurate, validated, conforming to platform specification, cost efficient, and launched on-time for global Sunrise.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own day-to-day title delivery execution to Disney+ globally
  • track materials through ingest, validation, conformance and SIP/DSS success
  • Ensure technical specification accuracy and Sunrise readiness
  • Partner with Studio Ops, Dubbing/Localization, Mastering, Avails and Programming to interpret priorities, unblock issues, escalate risk early, and communicate status
  • Identify operational gaps
  • propose workflow/tool improvements
  • contribute to “cheaper, faster, better” improvement initiatives
  • Use operational data, performance metrics, budget guardrails and OKRs to increase velocity, influence decision making, drive efficiency and ensure delivery within cost targets

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in digital distribution, streaming operations, studio post/localization servicing, or similar content operations functions
  • Strong understanding of digital supply chain delivery workflows and streaming technical specifications
  • Proven track record of driving operational execution under tight deadlines
  • Experience coordinating across diverse internal and vendor teams
  • Strong problem solving, prioritization, communication and project management skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to drive results through influence and collaboration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to balance technical and business considerations in decision-making
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
