Job Description:

As Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding and nurturing 1Password's global ecosystem. Reporting directly to the VP, Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships, you'll drive impactful partnerships with leading technology platforms and industry players. Your efforts will accelerate our growth, amplify our market presence, and deliver enhanced value to our customers and partners.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with 1Password’s long-term vision
Identify, prioritize, and establish strategic partnerships that drive customer growth, product innovation, and market differentiation
Build and nurture deep, C-level relationships with key technology, cybersecurity, and cloud partners
Own the lifecycle of partnerships, from initial engagement through ongoing collaboration, negotiation and expansion
Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Legal teams to ensure partnerships are seamlessly integrated and deliver measurable impact
Leverage deep industry knowledge in software, cybersecurity, identity, and privacy to identify market trends and partnership opportunities
Drive meaningful outcomes from strategic partnerships including market expansion, co-innovation, and increased customer adoption, and growth
Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing partnerships team
Represent 1Password at key industry events, conferences, and partner forums

Requirements:

Extensive experience in strategic partnerships, product partnerships, and business development ideally within software, cybersecurity, or SaaS industries
Proven track record of identifying, negotiating, and nurturing impactful partnerships that drive significant strategic expansion and growth
An entrepreneurial nature and growth mindset as well as proven agility in fast moving environments and a track record of driving strategic initiatives
Deep understanding of cybersecurity, identity management, and privacy technology landscapes, with existing relationships within key platform ecosystems highly valued
Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical capabilities, and execution skills to translate opportunities into tangible business outcomes
Demonstrated success in leading diverse, global teams, with a strong ability to inspire, develop, and grow talent
Strong executive presence, communication skills, and the ability to influence senior-level stakeholders internally and externally
A genuine passion for security, privacy, and technology aligned with 1Password’s mission and values. This should be coupled with a deep interest in understanding AI and the opportunities it will create for 1Password
