We are seeking a Senior Director, Sales Operations to lead the development and execution of the company’s sales strategy, revenue roadmap, and top-line growth objectives. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this role will partner closely with Sales and Marketing teams to drive scalable growth, operational excellence, and an exceptional customer experience. This position is ideal for a senior sales leader with experience driving growth for consumer-facing, retail-oriented, or product-driven brands, including beauty, wellness, retail, hospitality, food & beverage, lifestyle, fashion, or parallel consumer goods industries.
Job Responsibility:
Define and lead the overall sales strategy in collaboration with the executive team
Guide and motivate sales leadership to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets
Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing sales leadership team, fostering accountability and excellence
Own revenue forecasting, sales projections, and financial modeling to support executive decision-making
Analyze sales and operational metrics to assess performance against revenue goals, profitability targets, and growth opportunities
Identify new markets, channels, and customer segments to support expansion initiatives
Establish territory frameworks, performance targets, and sales operating rhythms
Leverage customer data and insights to refine sales approaches and prioritize opportunities
Drive data-driven decision-making across sales and go-to-market initiatives
Partner closely with Marketing to align sales strategy with integrated campaigns and brand initiatives
Collaborate on market research and customer feedback to improve sales effectiveness and product positioning
Ensure alignment between sales execution and the overall customer journey
Represent the organization in strategic customer engagements, trade associations, and industry events
Build and strengthen key partnerships that support long-term growth and brand visibility
Travel up to 30% as needed
Requirements:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
Proven track record in senior sales leadership and customer relationship management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
Ability to manage complexity, prioritize effectively, and operate in a fast-paced environment
Experience with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated success training, developing, and leading sales teams
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, or a related field
MBA preferred
7–10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, ideally supporting national retail or multi-channel accounts
Experience driving revenue growth for a small to mid-sized consumer brand strongly preferred
Background in retail, beauty, wellness, hospitality, food & beverage, lifestyle, fashion, or similar consumer-driven industries is highly relevant
