Job Description

This is a senior product leadership role responsible for defining and driving the strategy, roadmap, and execution for critical AI & Data Platform capabilities from India. You will operate with high autonomy as the senior product voice in-region, partnering closely with global engineering and product leaders.

Job Responsibility

  • Own and execute the product vision and roadmap across Fabric, AI & Data Governance, and Capacity & Cost Intelligence
  • Drive deep customer and market discovery to identify high-value problems and translate them into scalable platform capabilities
  • Define clear product requirements (PRDs, user stories, success metrics) that enable engineering teams to deliver with speed and precision
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Architecture, Go-to-Market, and Customer Success
  • Act as the primary product leader representing India within a globally distributed organization
  • Elevate product management excellence by mentoring and coaching PMs across the India team

Requirements

  • 12+ years of product management experience, including significant exposure to enterprise data platforms, cloud infrastructure, or AI/ML tooling
  • Proven track record of owning complex product portfolios end-to-end—from strategy through execution and iteration
  • Strong technical depth in modern data architectures (data lakes, warehouses, lakehouses, streaming, hybrid/multi-cloud)
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment in global, matrixed organizations
  • Experience mentoring or coaching product managers and elevating team-wide product management capability
  • Expertise in data governance, FinOps, or platform instrumentation and analytics
  • Familiarity with tools and ecosystems such as Collibra, Alation, Apache Atlas, or cloud cost management frameworks
  • Knowledge of open data formats (e.g., Iceberg, Delta, Hudi) and cloud-native analytics services
  • Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS/PaaS business models, including consumption-based pricing
  • Exposure to AI/ML platform components such as MLOps, feature stores, or LLM infrastructure
  • Experience operating within large-scale engineering centers in India
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (MBA preferred)
