We are looking for an experienced and visionary leader to head up our Platforms & Applications Unit and help shape a modern, and future-ready global IT landscape. In this role, you will take overall responsibility for the development and evolution of Demant’s enterprise platforms and applications that are shared across our different Business Units. You will play a central role in our transformation journey, where globalization, growth, standardization, and optimization go hand in hand with collaboration, trust, and people development. As Senior Director, you will bring people, technology, and processes together to create stable, scalable, and user-focused IT solutions that support and empower our business units worldwide. You will set direction, lead leaders, and take strategic ownership of cross-functional platforms and applications.
Job Responsibility:
Provide strategic leadership for Enterprise Platforms and Applications to ensure sustainable growth and maximize business values
Lead, mentor, and develop four global departments in close partnership with their managers
Provide chairmanship of the Group Services IT Board, enabling transparent, inclusive decisions and ensuring strong portfolio and financial governance
Foster trust‑based partnerships with key stakeholders in HR, Finance, Legal, Communications, and other support functions
Collaborate across IT domains on ERP and finance related initiatives and shared priorities
Promote innovation, standardization, and continuous improvement across all platforms and applications
Ensure high standards for compliance, security, performance, and reliability
Enable effective prioritization, resource deployment, and initiative execution that thoughtfully balances ambition, long‑term sustainability, and the wellbeing of our people
Collaborate with leaders and key stakeholders to develop and expand our new AI Center of Excellence
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, business administration, engineering, or a related field and/or equivalent experience
6-8+ years of experience from enterprise IT environments
Leadership experience in global or distributed organizations
Insight into enterprise platforms and applications
Experience in modern financial solutions
Experience with ERP and/or ERP implementations is an advantage
Curious, inclusive, and communicative leadership style
Ability to build trust, create engagement, and bring people together across cultures and functions
Comfortable navigating complexity and change
Ability to translate strategy into meaningful, achievable outcomes
Expected amount of travel days pr year will be around 10 – 30 days
