Job Description

The Senior Director, Operations plans, directs, organizes and controls warehousing, distribution, and transportation activities for the distribution center. The Senior Director Operations is responsible for implementing company operating policies, procedures and processes that achieve safe, efficient, and cost-effective facility operations, while meeting customer service expectations. The Senior Director Operations maintains the distribution center in accordance with Company's health and sanitation standards, federal and state OSHA requirements and protects and maintains company assets (inventory, facilities and fleet) within the designated region.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred
  • Minimum 10 years prior warehouse / distribution experience required
  • 7 years of progressive leadership is required
  • Previous experience operating operational systems including MS Office, Power BI, Manhattan, Blue Yonder for data analytics and results management
  • Ability to work varied shifts and overtime as required
  • Must be able to carry, lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
  • Must demonstrate the ability to build and sustain a safe and clean work environment through a relentless focus on prevention and sending associates home safe every day

  • Coordinate outside purchases Warehouse and Transportation materials, supplies, and products
  • Interact with customers to resolve order discrepancies and ensure quality service
  • Establish and maintain effective communication avenues with all KEHE departments
  • Develop and maintain effective cost control procedures
  • Develop and maintain effective productivity procedures. Maximize facility productivity and utilization
