Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute a global materials management strategy that ensures reliable product availability and supports customer delivery expectations.
Align demand planning, inventory, and supplier relationships with production, engineering, and commercial teams to meet customer requirements and market needs.
Monitor and improve customer-impact KPIs (on-time delivery, order fulfillment, lead times) while proactively managing shortages and supply risks.
Drive global programs in cost reduction, supply chain optimization, and waste minimization to increase customer value and profitability.
Implement innovative sourcing and material utilization strategies that balance cost efficiency with product quality and delivery reliability.
Partner with sourcing, manufacturing, and product management to deliver cost-saving initiatives and lean practices that improve inventory turnover and working capital.
Requirements:
10+ years of Operations or Supply chain Leadership experience, ideally a minimum of Plant Manager/Director of Operations experience or higher with familiarity with various manufacturing process technologies
BS or BA Degree in Engineering or Business required
Master’s Degree preferred
Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a “general manager’s” point of view and demonstrated proficiency in time and project management
Ability to design, develop, and implement a DBS roadmap for an OpCo or site with hands-on experience implementing DBS (or TPS) in a leadership role
Excels in energizing and building strong connections with teams through personal engagement and trust-building. Provide constructive feedback and coaching to facilitate the growth and development of team members.
Travel up to 50% to other manufacturing facilities around the globe as required.
