We’re partnering with a dynamic organization seeking a Senior Director of Payroll to lead and elevate a high-impact payroll function. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with an executive presence who thrives in a complex, fast-paced environment and is passionate about process improvement and team development.
Job Responsibility
Lead, mentor, and strengthen an established payroll team
Oversee end-to-end payroll processing across a large, seasonal workforce (~1,400 full-time employees, ~1,200 part-time employees, 8,000–9,000 seasonal employees)
Drive process improvements, efficiencies, and scalability initiatives
Partner cross-functionally to optimize payroll operations and integrations
Ensure compliance across multi-state payroll, taxes, and garnishments
Requirements
Proven leadership experience with a focus on team development
Hands-on payroll expertise in mid-to-large, complex environments (1,000+ employees)
Experience with time & attendance systems and payroll integrations (custom-built environments a plus)
Familiarity with OneSource Virtual (taxes & garnishments) strongly preferred
Exposure to Workday is a plus (or similar enterprise systems)
