Job Description:

CDI seeks a Senior Director of Partnerships to drive growth through strategic, mission-aligned partnerships and expand CDI’s reach across higher education and other sectors. This role blends strategy and execution: you’ll collaborate cross-functionally and design systems that make CDI’s partnership pipeline more efficient and data-informed while cultivating key relationships.

Job Responsibility:

Own a portfolio of key institutional targets, state systems and associations, advancing prospects through the full partnership lifecycle
Build and manage a high-quality partnership pipeline using HubSpot
Lead an outreach and demand generation strategy in collaboration with Demand Generation Marketing and the VP of Growth
Track performance toward CDI’s earned-revenue goals
Refine and operationalize partnership systems and protocols
Collaborate closely with the Program Implementation team
Represent CDI externally as a compelling spokesperson at conferences and convenings

Requirements:

7+ years of experience in partnerships, sales, or development, ideally within mission-driven or growth-stage organizations
Strategic and organized
Highly skilled relationship-builder
Experienced in developing strategies and systems at the intersection of marketing and partnerships
Data-informed and fluent in sales enablement tools
Collaborative and comfortable working across functions
Deeply aligned with CDI’s mission
Based on the East Coast OR based in Central Time with the ability to work standard Eastern Time (EST) hours

Nice to have:

Experience with Hubspot and Asana a plus
