Senior Director of Data Center Operations

Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As the Senior Director of Data Center Operations (DC Ops) on the U.S. Airgap Cloud (AGC) team, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft’s dedicated online services supporting the U.S. Government. You will lead a unique, mission critical, highly regulated DCOps and Program Management organization spanning the U.S. geography focused on delivering operational excellence to our customers. You will interact and maintain relationships with various authorities and partners across the industry. You will use keen business acumen and financial management skills to manage operating costs effectively, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, security, and ecological responsibility. Interpersonal awareness, ability to navigate ambiguity, and communication skills will be pivotal in bringing your program management, technical abilities, and leadership experiences to a whole new level in supporting Microsoft’s success. While our AGC DCOps team has a sharp focus on serving our U.S. Government customers and helping them achieve federal missions, together, all of Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) infrastructure is comprised of a large global portfolio of more than 100 datacenters and 1 million servers.
