Job Description

San Francisco State University seeks applications and nominations for the position of Senior Director, Corporate and Foundation Relations. The Senior Director is a key member of the University’s development team and will manage the planning, organizing, and implementation of a robust corporate and foundation fundraising program with the goal of increasing financial support that is focused on the University’s strategic and campaign priorities. He/She works with senior academic leadership and faculty to develop and implement engagement strategies and relationships that increase opportunities for corporate and foundation philanthropy, collaborative research, sponsorships, professional and executive training, student internships and recruitment, and continuing education. The Senior Director will have a deep understanding of both the nuances of effective foundation grant seeking and of the business and marketing needs of corporations, as well as the ability to develop complex relationships and strategies to address them. The Senior Director will facilitate communication among campus stakeholders and empower units to build deeper and broader partnerships with current and potential corporate and foundation funders. The Senior Director will be a self-motivated individual with proven networking and leadership skills. The Senior Director will manage the Corporate & Foundation Relations program to ensure that the mission and goals of the University are advanced through greater corporate and foundation engagement and philanthropic support. The Senior Director will partner with SF State’s various colleges and other fundraising units and collaborate with their assigned development officers to provide resources and proactively identify fruitful matches with corporate and foundation funding sources. The Senior Director also communicates and coordinates University Advancement’s corporate and foundation activities with peers in the University’s Office of Research & Sponsored Programs. The Senior Director, Corporate & Foundation Relations reports to the Associate Vice President for University Development and supervises the Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations.

  • Oversee the strategy and execution of Neo’s one or more of Neo’s consumer credit risk functions in order to effectively enable sound strategies to manage risk and profitability
