U.S. Federal Government sales channel within Comcast Government Services, a division of Comcast Business is responsible for driving consistent revenue growth, profitability, and a superior customer experience across civilian federal agencies. This leader will develop and execute both short- and long-term sales strategies, manage complex acquisition cycles, and cultivate deep relationships with current and prospective federal customers.
Job Responsibility
Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for civilian federal agencies
Build, manage, and optimize a comprehensive sales funnel
Meet and exceed all revenue, unit, and performance targets
Identify, qualify, and advance new federal opportunities
Serve as a senior customer advocate
Maintain deep understanding of the federal procurement landscape
Partner closely with internal engineering, finance, capture/proposal management, program management, marketing, and security teams
Support the customer lifecycle
Actively promote the Comcast Business brand
Provide insight and recommendations for new products
Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and forecasting
Exercise tactful negotiation skills
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree (preferred, or combination of coursework and experience)
10 Years + relevant work experience
Extensive experience selling technology solutions into the federal government, particularly within key Civilian agencies (DHS, VA, HHS, DOT, GSA)
Ability to navigate complex procurement environments
Ability to inspire cross functional teams
Federal Government experience is required
Deep understanding of the federal procurement landscape, competitive market conditions, and emerging technologies
Working knowledge of network design, MAN technologies, VoIP, LAN/MAN/WAN/VPN, Layer 1–3 networking protocols, customer premise equipment, business continuity, and disaster recovery concepts
Ability to support occasional nights, weekends, and travel as needed
