United Way Miami, Inc. is hiring a Senior Director, Early Head Start Child Care Partnership to join our team. As a Senior Director, Early Head Start Child Care Partnership, you will be responsible for assuring that all the Head Start program mandates and standards for excellence are met daily. This position assists in the development of the structure, systems, and procedures to facilitate this. In addition to operating responsibility for programmatic aspects of the program, it bears the responsibility of assuring that the program is strategically positioned for the future.

Assures compliance with funding source mandates and standards
participates in development and execution of long and short-range goals
provides guidance and leadership to staff
reviews and analyzes monthly financial and statistical reports
monitors agreements for purchasing
assures program serves eligible children
reviews and analyzes monthly Attendance Reports
develops Annual Work Plans for all service areas
works with community organizations
leads planning meetings
produces high-quality reporting
ensures implementation of program self-assessment
ensures accuracy of Program Information Report
oversees Policy Council meeting
collaborates in development of funding application
maintains communication with CFE Committee
assures remediation of non-compliances
hears and resolves community complaints
completes and submits regular reports
assures classrooms and playgrounds are well-equipped
responsible for Performance Management plans
approves Time and Attendance
develops retention and team building strategies
manages grievances
monitors employee responsibilities

Requirements
Bachelor's degree with at least three years of experience in Head Start Management systems
Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or related Child Development field preferred
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
5 years of supervision
understanding of Head Start philosophy
experience in human services program management
good computer skills
knowledge of Word, Excel, and modern web browsers
