Senior Director, Client Development at Capital One. This individual will have direct management of a team. You will be responsible for building relationships with key business stakeholders and partners to conduct needs analysis, consult, implement, measure and manage learning strategies designed to help our internal associates and business leaders grow their functional and professional skills in innovative, creative and appealing ways.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and develop a team of learning consultants to deliver innovative learning solutions
Build strong relationships and consult with business leaders, HR partners, and L&D teammates to deliver learning strategies
Lead the learning and development agenda in support of Capital One’s Financial Services line of business
Implement learning best practices and innovative, creative learning strategies
Devise and implement a clear and consistent learning assessment model to measure results and return on investment
Prioritize learning efforts and effectively allocate resources
Fuel a culture of continuous learning on the team and among our partners
Motivate the team to high performance while caring for well-being and balance
Advance diversity, inclusion, and belonging through leading practices
Communicate with and influence leadership at all levels
Manage L&D Learning Budget
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 3 years of experience in instructional design or learning experience design
At least 5 years of experience in client consulting
At least 5 years of experience leading and implementing learning strategies
At least 5 years of experience in people leadership
At least 5 years of experience in project management
Nice to have:
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Education, Human Resources, Instructional Design, Learning and Development, or Organizational Design or Effectiveness
Professional Human Resources Certification or Senior Professional Human Resources Certification
7+ years of experience in people management
7+ years of experience in project management (planning, executing, tracking)
5+ years of experience in driving multi-year, company-wide learning endeavors
