Job Description

As a Senior Director of the In-store Walmart team with Acosta Group, you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients sell their merchandise at Walmart. You will assist the client with their go to market strategy that will be unique to Walmart. In this role you will provide leadership, counsel, and appropriate insights to help create the story of why the merchandise aligns with Walmart’s strategy. Incumbent will work cross functionally with Acosta Groups business intelligence group, E-Commerce group as well as Acosta’s retail execution business to bring all Acosta Group’s assets to bear. Communicate directly with the principles of the Clients organization as well as directly with Walmart’s buying team to set up meetings and presentations. Partner with cross functional teams at Acosta that specialize in item set-up, replenishment, and supply chain.

Requirements

  • 10+ years related Sales experience
  • 7+ years making the direct call on Walmart/Sam’s
  • Strong knowledge of sales function processes and cross-functional exposure to other Business Operations
  • Knowledge of Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry required
  • Strong knowledge of Syndicated Data and Customer Manager Process
  • Retail Link experience required
  • Must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to stare at a screen for long periods of time
