Job Description:

The Senior Director- Finance Core Technology is a strategic role responsible for overseeing the technical architecture, design, solutioning, implementation and ongoing support of Cloud ERP, EPM, CX, CPQ platforms and integrated ecosystem. This role acts as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring the Cloud finance platform effectively supports business operations and objectives. This role involves leading projects, providing technical expertise, and collaborating with global technology, business stakeholders and vendor partners to ensure scalable, efficient, and secure Cloud ERP, EPM, CX, CPQ that align with business goals. This position requires high technical proficiency to ensure the efficient functioning of financial systems, data integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborating closely with finance leaders and IT professionals, you will drive innovation, streamline workflows, and leverage technology to enhance financial reporting, analysis, and decision-making. The Senior director will lead a high- performing team of architects and engineers and oversee vendor relationships to ensure best in class Cloud Financials delivery.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certifications
  • 10+ years overall work experience in Information Technology, application development or similar relevant experience
  • 8+ years of experience leading and supporting large scale Cloud ERP, EPM, CX, CPQ implementations
  • 8+ years of leading technology solutioning and design for Oracle cloud ERP, EPM, CX and CPQ implementations
  • 8+ years of proven progressive experience as an ERP engineer with cloud experience who has evolved into technical lead, technical architect and eventually to technical leadership roles
  • 8+ years of experience as a technical architect implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, EPM, CX, CPQ systems, with a wide capability range
  • Strong expertise with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and other cloud native technologies and infrastructure frameworks including Oracle integration cloud (OIC), adapters/connectors, REST API’s, BIP, FBDI, Kafka/OSS and other event driven integrations and file-based interfaces
  • Strong knowledge of integration patterns like event-driven, synchronous vs asynchronous, canonical data models, error handling, retries, reprocessing and monitoring
  • Detailed and hands-on experience with DevOps and automation: CI/CD pipelines for ERP artifacts (OIC, VBCS, Reports), GIT based version control, containerization and automated testing frameworks
  • Experience with agentic AI frameworks including prompt engineering, RAG models, API and integration frameworks that use MCP and Agent2Agent protocols
  • Experience with full stack development and composable architecture
  • Experience with VBCS/Visual Builder, Page Composer, Groovy Scripting, Object workflows
  • Strong experience integrating Cloud ERP, EPM with 3rd party systems (banks, tax engines, Coupa, legacy applications etc.)
  • Deep understanding of RBAC, job roles vs duty roles, data security policies and SOD controls
  • Knowledge of Oracle cloud ERP best practices
  • Business process knowledge in common ERP Cloud modules including but not limited to General Ledger, Cash Management, Projects, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Oracle Accounting Hub and related applications
  • Prior experience working with finance and engineering to drive and implement technology solutions for end-to-end processes
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to finance and technology (e.g., GDPR, SOX, PCI-DSS)
  • Ability to review and manage usage, licensing, and costs with vendor platforms
  • Ability to learn modern technologies and adopt new technologies to streamline and simplify processes, keep related systems in sync and maintain data parity across an integrated ecosystem
  • Strong communication skills with a passion for mentoring and guiding diverse teams through strategic initiatives
