Shopify is seeking a Senior Digital Producer to support AI-generated and enabled content production on the Multimedia team under Growth. Shopify's Multimedia team creates educational and inspirational content that guides millions of entrepreneurs through their journey through our edutainment style YouTube channel and award-winning podcast featuring the success stories of Shopify merchants. The focal point of this role will be supporting the 'Learn with Shopify’ and ‘Shopify Masters’ YouTube and podcast channels in the production of AI-generated and enabled content. This role is multi-disciplinary by nature. You're comfortable executing at the intersection of production craft and emerging technology, whether that's creating AI-generated shorts, editing multiformat content, or using new tools to streamline product walk-throughs. You understand that strong production fundamentals remain essential, and you're energized by the challenge of integrating AI into creation and execution. You thrive in fast-paced environments, deliver consistent quality, and bring a critical eye to every deliverable, knowing when technology accelerates the work and when the human touch is non-negotiable. Above all, you're eager to execute efficiently, stay current with emerging tools, and produce excellent AI enabled content for Shopify's audience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Execution of AI-generated and enabled content production including but not limited to YouTube shorts, ‘How To’ tutorials, merchant interviews, re-purposed content, b-roll, text-to-image generation, and multilingual translated videos + audio at scale
  • Own the pre and post-production process for high volume of assets, including but not limited to motion graphics, script / storyboard generation, product walk throughs, digital sound and color mix
  • Work with AI tools (i.e.VEO, Krea, Midjourney, Higgsfield, Nano Banana) to create engaging visual experiences that align with brand guidelines, and project goals
  • Quality control of content to ensure deliverables are produced to a high standard and align with channel creative while shipping quickly
  • Identify new areas of opportunity for AI enabled content
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of processes for production workstreams
  • Interface with third party resources as needed, ensuring that they are appropriately integrated into project workstreams

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in AI-generated video, motion graphics, editing, prompting and quality control
  • Proven experience in post-production workflows (i.e. Premiere / After Effects / Photoshop)
  • Fluency in traditional and AI video editing software and workflows
  • Understanding of what makes strong content on YouTube and tailoring content production accordingly
  • An effective communicator who can handle multiple projects from beginning to end under tight and evolving deadlines
  • A self-starter who can work independently with little supervision and also collaborate effectively with a team. Must also be a team player, eager to contribute
