Job Description

To define, own and evolve End-to-End Digital and OSS architecture, strategy, and roadmap aligned to Vodafone priorities and enabling the move towards Autonomous Networks. Deliver End-to-End Digital and OSS solution designs for complex, cross-domain and cross-market initiatives, enabling autonomous, data-driven and AI-assisted capabilities to support the network’s life cycle value streams, ensuring alignment with Vodafone’s technology strategy, architecture principles, and cost-efficient delivery. As part of the Digital and OSS Engineering Team, works on bringing our architecture’s capabilities to live, from the ground up to play a key role in creating a modern environment that will revolutionize how we provide solutions to our community.

Job Responsibility

  • Own the end-to-end Digital & OSS strategy and roadmap, with focus on enabling Autonomous Networks, including intent-based operations, policy-driven orchestration, and agentic decision automation
  • Partner with business stakeholders, OSS management and technology teams to understand objectives and challenges, translate business requirements into clear end‑to‑end solution to shape scalable, reusable, and cost-efficient solutions
  • Ensure common ground of design principles related to the specific domains’ interworking capabilities
  • Drive the OSS technology evolution roadmap towards cloud-native, event-driven and AI-enabled platforms, in alignment to the Architecture recommendation
  • Ensure strong design governance and strategic alignment, guiding technology choices and adoption of emerging OSS, automation and AI capabilities

Requirements

  • Engineering / Technology / Math’s/ Data Science Degree
  • Deep expertise in OSS and Digital architecture, cloud-native systems and APIs
  • Experience with data-centric and AI-enabled architectures, including analytics, ML and agent-based frameworks
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across markets and cultures
  • System-level thinking balancing creativity /innovation, reuse, cost and operational stability
  • Proven ability to translate business strategy and requirements into end-to-end architectures, solution designs and roadmaps
  • Architecture frameworks: TOGAF, COBIT, TM Forum Frameworks (SID, eTOM)
  • Cloud platforms, containers, microservices and event-driven architectures
  • Familiar / certified TM Forum Autonomous Networks Framework
  • Agile and scaled agile methodologies (e.g. SAFe)
  • Very good written skills to outline technical design documents
