Working within the market leading Commercial Innovation & Digital Department, our Senior Digital Investment Partner is TMG’s digital lead on one or more agency network groups, or a group of independent agencies, and specified direct clients. They will evangelise The Telegraph’s digital offering to their assigned base, with the aim of maximising digital ad revenues and yields across the Telegraph’s portfolio of digital advertising formats, first party data and insights, Metrics That Matter, Newsletters, Podcasts and Video, as well as supporting where relevant on the digital element of partnership pitches. You will identify and develop opportunities, and negotiate with agency and direct client marketing contacts and business owners. You will be proactive in selling high yielding and market leading products that are bespoke to The Telegraph; and in driving new or incremental business to all Telegraph digital products via any sales route. With the wider team’s specialist support you will innovate solutions to help clients with their digital advertising needs, analyse and work with numbers, and demonstrate excellent knowledge of our products, platforms and the digital media market. You will develop and lead effective relationships to grow our digital direct, data and partnerships business with Network agencies, independents or direct clients, as directed.

Job Responsibility:

  • Be key lead on an assigned network agency group, or group of large independent agencies, and specified clients
  • Implement TMG digital sales strategy with a core focus on growing larger longer term campaigns, revenue, and yield from your patch
  • Proactively seek new business from all your relevant contacts
  • Work with the wider team on initiatives and innovation to generate incremental revenue
  • Deliver on group digital quarterly revenue targets
  • Report back on trading and market intelligence, and use this intel to develop strategies and initiatives to benefit the team
  • Cultivate strong relationships with agency contacts working within Digital, Investment, Client Management, Data, and Planning, with the support of specialist team members as appropriate
  • Contribute to surfacing new EIP and data partnership briefs from agencies
  • Ensure communication to all stakeholders is in constant flow to benefit overall revenue generation

  • Perform as a senior member of the digital sales team, developing our GTM, sharing knowledge and best practice, contributing towards new initiatives that deliver for the subscriptions strategy as well as supporting digital revenue growth

Requirements:
