We are seeking a Senior Digital Designer to shape and elevate the digital customer experience across our banking platforms, including mobile apps, online banking, and digital journeys. This role plays a key part in translating complex financial products and regulatory requirements into intuitive, accessible, and engaging digital experiences. The ideal candidate combines strong visual design craft with UX thinking, thrives in cross-functional Agile teams, and understands the unique challenges of designing in a regulated financial services environment.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the design of end-to-end digital experiences across web and mobile banking platforms
Create high-quality UI designs, interaction patterns, and prototypes aligned with brand and usability standards
Translate complex financial concepts into clear, customer-friendly digital interfaces
Apply user-centered design principles informed by research, analytics, and usability testing
Design inclusive and accessible experiences in line with WCAG and accessibility best practices
Advocate for the customer experience in product and delivery discussions
Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and UX Researchers in Agile teams
Contribute to backlog refinement by supporting story definition and design acceptance criteria
Partner with developers to ensure high-quality design implementation
Contribute to and evolve the bank’s design system, UI components, and pattern libraries
Ensure consistency across digital channels while supporting scalability and speed to market
Maintain design documentation and guidelines
Provide design leadership within squads and across initiatives
Mentor and support junior designers, offering constructive feedback and guidance
Influence design best practices and raise the overall design maturity of the organization
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Design, UX, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
6+ years of experience in digital design, UX/UI, or interaction design
Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality digital design for complex platforms
Experience designing web and mobile applications, ideally within banking or financial services
Advanced proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
Solid understanding of Agile delivery and working in cross-functional teams
Nice to have:
Experience designing for regulated industries (banking, insurance, fintech)
Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
Experience working with design systems at scale
Understanding of analytics, A/B testing, and data-informed design decisions
