You’ll work closely with technical and non-technical teams, acting as a subject-matter expert, mentoring others, and helping the business scale securely and efficiently. Job Responsibility:
Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure across AWS and private cloud platforms
Lead infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform and Ansible
Build and improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)
Implement monitoring and observability solutions to improve visibility and performance
Collaborate with internal teams to enhance system reliability, resilience, and security
Manage hybrid networking, IAM, firewalls, and VPNs
Participate in an on-call rota and support incident response when required
Produce clear technical documentation and contribute to operational best practice
Requirements:
5+ years’ experience in a DevOps or cloud infrastructure role
Strong hands-on AWS experience
Experience with virtualisation platforms such as VMware or Proxmox
Solid Linux administration skills
Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Ansible)
Containerisation and orchestration experience (e.g. Kubernetes / EKS)
Scripting ability in Bash, Python, or Go
Good understanding of networking and cloud security concepts
Nice to have:
AWS certifications
Experience with container or infrastructure security tools (e.g. Trivy)
