Job Description:

ELEKS DevOps Office is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer in Ukraine, Poland, Croatia. We’re growing our team at ELEKS in partnership with a company, the UK’s largest renewable power generator, primarily using sustainable biomass and hydroelectric power.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure in AWS
  • Own and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS), ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies (blue-green, canary, rolling)
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform following best practices
  • Develop and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting systems across the platform
  • Ensure system reliability through proper observability, SLIs/SLOs, and incident response practices
  • Collaborate with development teams to streamline delivery processes and improve deployment workflows
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and application issues in production environments
  • Implement and enforce security best practices across AWS environments
  • Optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Hands-on experience with AWS
  • Practical experience with Kubernetes (AKS) and Docker
  • Experience with Helm for Kubernetes deployments
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with Terraform
  • Upper-intermediate English and ability to work in a cross-functional team
