Job Description:

The overall objective of this role is to improve developer productivity and the developer experience. The job involves working on scalable, high-performance Java Microservices and building event-driven systems.

Job Responsibility:

Perform DevOps role managing build management, automation during SDLC
Create Helm charts with Kubernetes and manage k8's clusters and roles
Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
Develop scripts for automation
Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
Work on Kubernetes Clusters
Automate and improve build and release processes
Deployment orchestration and troubleshooting
Handle critical upgrades and vulnerabilities
Advise technical leadership on DevOps best practices and pragmatic enhancements

Requirements:

A strong understanding of Linux, networking, source control, scripting, databases, scripting, cloud platforms and the software delivery process
Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
Hands-on experience on Docker, Kubernetes along with Helm charts
Good knowledge on scripting languages and tools development
Comfortable working with Linux and standard developer tooling, such as Git, BitBucket/GitHub, Jira, Confluence
Knowledge of build pipelines, CI/CD and the pathway to production
Ability to triage and troubleshoot build issues
Problem solving attitude and collaborative team spirit

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Redhat OpenShift
Knowledge of deploying applications on the OpenShift environment
Finance experience
