Job Description:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the infrastructure that supports our software development lifecycle. You will work closely with software engineers, QA, and IT teams to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of our systems. Your primary focus will be on streamlining our deployment processes, improving system scalability, and ensuring a robust, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure.

Job Responsibility:

Design, implement, and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines
Develop and maintain IaC templates using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Create and maintain automation scripts using languages like Python, Shell, or Bash
Implement and manage monitoring tools to ensure high system availability and performance
Work closely with development teams to understand deployment requirements and best practices
Ensure that infrastructure and deployment processes follow security best practices
Design and implement disaster recovery solutions, backup strategies, and ensure high availability
Maintain clear and concise documentation for infrastructure, pipelines, and processes

Requirements:

4-7 years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering or related roles
Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD tools
Expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (AWS preferred)
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and container management
Proficiency with tools like BitBucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar
Strong experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar tools
Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Bash
Experience with BitBucket, Git and Git workflows
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog, etc.
Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments, including IAM, VPCs, encryption, etc.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Mentorship experience and a passion for sharing knowledge

Nice to have:

Experience with Public/Private Cloud architecture (EC2, AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)
Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in an Agile environment
Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (or similar certifications)
