The role involves building most DevOps and infrastructure processes from scratch. This includes full setup and ongoing support of infrastructure, networks, access management, CI/CD, deployments, security, monitoring, backups, and overall operational readiness of environments.
Job Responsibility:
Build and maintain on-premise Windows-based infrastructure from scratch
Configure and support IIS and Windows Services for application hosting
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and similar tools
Configure and administer GitLab runners/executors
Support deployment of .NET-based applications
Integrate and support messaging and caching systems (RabbitMQ, Redis)
Support deployment and maintenance of MS SQL databases
Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using Elastic and monitoring platforms
Manage virtualization and containerized environments (VMware, Docker)
Support Kubernetes environments where applicable
Ensure security, backups, and operational readiness of all environments
Requirements:
Strong experience working with on-premise environments (Windows)
Hands-on experience with IIS
Experience working with Windows Services
Experience with GitLab or similar CI/CD systems, including setting up and administering own runners/executors
Experience with deploying .NET Framework applications will be a plus
Experience with RabbitMQ or Redis will be a plus
Experience with deploying MS SQL databases will be a plus
Experience working with Elastic
Experience with monitoring systems such as Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, or similar
Experience with virtualization and containers: VMware, Docker
Experience with Kubernetes (k8s) will be a plus
