Job Description:

The job involves architecting, deploying, and managing on-premises Kubernetes clusters, configuring cluster networking and storage, automating cluster provisioning, and optimizing resource allocation. The role also includes integrating Kubernetes into CI/CD pipelines, implementing GitOps practices, and mentoring junior engineers.

Job Responsibility:

Architect, deploy, and manage on-premises Kubernetes clusters
Configure cluster networking, storage integrations, and security policies
Automate cluster provisioning and lifecycle management
Package applications into Docker containers and manage container registries
Optimize resource allocation and auto-scaling for workloads
Integrate Kubernetes into CI/CD pipelines
Implement GitOps practices
Deploy Kubernetes-native monitoring and logging
Troubleshoot cluster performance and node issues
Mentor junior engineers on Kubernetes, DevOps workflows, and SQL best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with business needs

Requirements:

5+ years in DevOps/Systems Engineering
2+ years in Kubernetes on-premises
3+ years in SQL database management
Proficiency in Kubernetes cluster management (etcd, control plane, worker nodes)
Strong Linux/Windows administration and scripting (Bash, Python)
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools
Knowledge of on-premises storage (SAN/NAS) and networking (VLANs, firewalls)
Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization, schema design, and stored procedures
Experience with database migration tools and techniques
Tools: Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana, Docker
Able to join immediately

Nice to have:

Certifications: CKAD, CKS, or CNCF certifications
Experience with service meshes (Istio) or chaos engineering tools
Familiarity with hybrid cloud architectures (AWS/Azure integration)
Knowledge of database replication and sharding techniques
