Job Description:

We are seeking a senior DevOps professional to assess, design, and help implement a scalable cloud data platform that supports enterprise analytics and upcoming cloud ERP integration. This role will play a critical part in moving the organization from a limited data warehouse model to a modern data lake or lakehouse architecture with appropriate governance, security, and operational rigor. This is a hands-on, architecture-led engagement focused on platform enablement, reliability, and long-term operational sustainability.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assess the current data and analytics environment and identify architectural, tooling, and operational gaps
  • Design a scalable cloud-based data platform architecture (data lake / lakehouse patterns) aligned to future ERP and analytics needs
  • Recommend and implement DevOps tooling including CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, and environment management
  • Build and harden data ingestion pipelines supporting batch and near-real-time integrations from ERP, SaaS, and third-party data sources
  • Establish platform security, identity, access controls, and key management in partnership with security stakeholders
  • Define data platform operating standards including deployment patterns, error handling, and observability
  • Support ERP data integration efforts and analytics readiness leading up to and following ERP go-live
  • Partner closely with data engineers, analytics teams, and external vendors to enable downstream consumption
  • Produce documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials to support long-term internal ownership

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in DevOps or cloud platform engineering within data-heavy environments
  • Strong background designing and operating cloud-based data platforms, including experience with Azure and modern analytics ecosystems
  • Hands-on expertise with data ingestion frameworks, integration tooling, and pipeline orchestration
  • Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code solutions, and automated environment management
  • Experience applying cloud security, identity governance, and access control best practices across enterprise platforms
  • Ability to guide architecture discussions and convert business objectives into practical technical designs
  • Experience supporting integrations with enterprise systems and software-as-a-service platforms
  • Familiarity with lakehouse concepts, analytics workflows, or modernization-focused transformation initiatives is preferred
