Our client, one of Europe’s leading banks, is bringing a critical vendor application in-house and integrating it across international platforms. We are looking for an experienced developer to help spearhead this transition within a high-performing, expert environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the in-house migration of a vendor application and align it for new international country platforms
  • Extract, transform, and merge complex historical data from legacy systems
  • Use Java and Spring Boot to solve intricate backend challenges and define robust technical solutions
  • Engage in a high-interaction office environment, ensuring a deep collective understanding of the project scope

Requirements:

  • 8–12 years of backend development experience
  • Advanced experience: Java (preferably Java 21) and Spring Boot
  • Data & Integration: Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) gained from large-scale projects and Kafka
  • Proactive and consultant-minded approach, challenging the status quo constructively
  • Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills
  • Fluent English communication skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience of JPA and REST APIs
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, or Artifactory
