As a Senior Desktop Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all endpoint devices and audio‑visual equipment across our offices, meeting rooms and with remote users, are functioning effectively, secure, resilient and up to date. This is a hands‑on, technical role where you’ll take ownership of our modern endpoint ecosystem using Microsoft technologies such as Intune, Autopilot, Defender and Teams for Rooms. You’ll provide expert leadership in endpoint lifecycle management, contribute to improving organisational security, mentor colleagues, and ensure that our users have the tools and support they need to deliver their best work.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the design, development, and delivery of endpoint capabilities to ensure the secure and effective delivery, operation and disposal of endpoint devices including meeting room equipment
Strengthen endpoint security through Defender policies, vulnerability monitoring and timely updates
Diagnose and resolve device, software, connectivity and AV issues for all users
Work with internal teams and vendors to maintain reliable solutions and clear technical documentation
Mentor colleagues and drive continuous improvement by staying current with modern workplace technologies
Requirements:
Firsthand experience of delivering the entire endpoint device life cycle and applying best practice in the efficient and secure delivery, operation, and disposal of devices
Proven experience of end-point management using Microsoft tooling such as Intune and Autopilot
Direct experience of developing security and compliance policies for endpoints
Experience with AV technologies for meeting rooms including conferencing systems, displays, and control systems
Collaborating across teams to ensure successful design, delivery, and operation of endpoint solutions
Experience of working within an IT Service Management framework such as ITIL
