Requirements

Ability to work in both office and field environments. Familiarity with engineering practices relevant to assigned projects and with electric utility construction methods and procedures. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage drafting assignments through completion following established practices and standards. Demonstrated interest and aptitude for advanced drafting and design work. Minimum of three (3) years of drafting and design experience using Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) software (Autodesk/AutoCAD). Civil 3D Experience is preferred. Associate degree in Drafting, Survey Technology, or a related discipline required
Bachelor's degree preferred.

Job Responsibility

Independently design, assemble, and prepare complex electrical drawings. Update and revise existing utility and infrastructure drawings based on engineering changes and field conditions. Perform field checks to ensure drawings accurately reflect site conditions. Apply engineering practices and electric utility construction standards to assigned projects. Organize, manage, and direct drafting workflow for assignments within this grade level. Provide guidance and instruction to other drafting personnel as needed.
