Bachelors degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or any relevant courses
Competence in Open Roads Designer (ORD)
Demonstrated Australian design experience, including application of Austroads Design Guidelines
Circa 7-10+ years design experience
Demonstrated experience working with a multi-disciplinary team
Applicants with 12d road design experience are encouraged to apply, with an appetite to develop Open Roads Design capabilities in the future – through on the job learning

Job Responsibility

Develop and produce detailed road and civil design models to produce drawings using geometric design packages such as OpenRoads Designer or 12d
Interpret design standards and translate engineering input into 3D models and provide outputs for plan production
Collaborate with engineers and drafters to ensure accuracy, constructability, and integration of design elements
Assist with digital design processes and participate in design reviews
Apply quality assurance and Aurecon design protocols throughout the project lifecycle
Apply Austroads guidelines and Main Roads WA Supplements to Austroads, to produce accurate and detailed road designs that will range from concept designs all the way through to construction stages
