We are looking for a Senior Design Researcher who is deeply passionate about understanding human behavior. In this role, you will leverage qualitative and quantitative research methods to uncover meaningful insights about user needs, motivations, and experiences, driving informed design decisions.
Job Responsibility:
Seek design critiques actively to improve the quality of the work produced, and grow with the feedback
Choose the right communication methods, cadence, and deliverables to convey progress and concerns to internal and external stakeholders
Participate in brainstorming sessions and design reviews with the design team
Partner with design, product, and marketing teams to understand business needs, evaluate current and future user needs design appropriate research studies to generate user-focused insights
Contribute to the research plan by formulating hypotheses, research questions, and quality tasks for participants
Handle the research logistics, recruiting and preparing participants for research, interviews, securing conference rooms, technical support, and more
Prepare all the required research and recording material prior to studies
Conduct research using a wide variety of qualitative methods and a subset of quantitative methods. Collect and record all the meaningful data during the study
Organize findings and analyze data writing detailed conclusions with root causes
Present findings and insights to a larger audience in a clear and compelling way – written and verbal
Contribute to company-wide knowledge ensuring future access to the completed research studies
Track emerging trends in the digital interface landscape, recommending new opportunities to ensure continuous improvement
Requirements:
An online portfolio demonstrating a passion for digital product development, and experience in diverse content and subject matter
BA Degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or a related field
5+ years of experience in research and experience design with digital products or services
A love of collaboration, self-growth, and learning
Proficiency in research, analytics, design tools and software
A passion to learn and keep up with design and technology trends
Strong verbal and visual presentation skills
Fluent in written and spoken English
