Our technology client is seeking a Senior Design Researcher to lead high-impact, end-to-end research that shapes digital product strategy across web and native mobile experiences. This is a temporary / contract position. This is a senior individual contributor role with significant influence on product direction, operating at the intersection of user insight, business priorities and technical complexity. This is not a people manager role.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and scale design research across multiple product areas, from early discovery to post-launch optimization
Define research strategy and proactively identify the highest-impact opportunities
Drive clarity in ambiguous problem spaces and influence product vision and roadmap decisions
Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into compelling narratives that resonate with executive stakeholders
Elevate research practices across teams
Facilitate alignment across diverse stakeholders in a large, complex organization
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in UX/design research for digital products (web and mobile)
Strong online portfolio showcasing recent design research case studies
Track record of influencing product strategy and executive decision-making
Experience operating in large-scale, enterprise or consulting-driven environments
Deep expertise in mixed-method research and strong product intuition
Exceptional communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to lead through influence in cross-functional teams
Nice to have:
Background in consulting or advisory environments
Experience in complex, regulated or systems-driven industries
Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and data-informed product development
