Senior Design Engineer

Senior Design Engineer. Electronics City. Job category: Engineering. Location: Bangalore. Position Overview: • Mechanical and Structural design for Heavy machineries/Construction equipment in concept design to 3D Modeling & manufacturing drawings creations. Responsibilities: • Competent user of 3D Solid Modelling CAD, ideally Solidworks or Creo/Pro-Engineer and familiarity with Product Data Management (PDM) systems. • Exposure in R&D and New product development is preferred. • Good technical expertise in mechanical systems & mechanical engineering fundamentals. Required Education & Experience: • Graduate in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a reputed college. Post Graduate qualification would be an added advantage. • 2 - 5 years of relevant experience • Creativity and innovative thinking. • Experience with ERP systems. • Good English communication skill, both written and spoken • Good Presentation and interpersonal skills. Skills & Competencies: • Good Team work capabilities and Co-ordination with other teams. • Good Design background and exposure to manufacturing/product development. • Should be familiar and capable of preparing 2D & 3D CAD drawings at least in any one of the following software such as, Solidworks (preferable). ... • Basic knowledge of the FEA software, such as Ansys, Hypermesh, Optistruct would be an added advantage. • Preference would be given to those having worked in Global engineering projects. • Having passport would be preferable and should be willing to travel overseas as and when required.
