Senior Design Engineer - District Heating. You’ll join an international asset management business with over $500bn under its stewardship. In the UK, the business owns and operates gas, water, power distribution and fibre networks. They also have a growing network of district heating projects which they retain ownership of for a period of time following installation. Working from their central London offices, you’ll join their district heating business. As the Senior Design Engineer, you’ll report to the Design Director and play an integral part in the design team for district heating, helping to ensure compliance with Legislation and Industry Standards for Heating, Cooling Water Distribution Systems. You’ll keep up to date with leading edge design approaches that will affect the current and future design of district heating energy solutions. You’ll run software simulations of the technical implications of heat generating plant as well as producing financial models to assist in the preparation of project budgets and estimates. The role will extend to client facing responsibilities as you attend both contractor and client meetings to assist the business development teams technically.
