Job Description:

Senior Design Engineer/ Manager/Sr. Manager - Electrical Systems (Grid Stability).

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop single-line diagrams, both basic and detailed engineering of Electrical Systems for Synchronous Condenser, Hydro Power Projects
  • Conduct equipment sizing, e.g., Current and Voltage Transformers (CT/VT), Neutral Grounding Transformers, DG sets, Aux. Transformers, Reactors, etc., ensuring alignment with overall technical project requirements
  • Engineering Excellence: In-depth technical knowledge of Electrical Balance of Plant (EBoP) packages
  • Customer Focus: Prioritize customer satisfaction and maintain a strong focus on quality
  • Troubleshooting skills: Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills
  • Cross-functional and Supplier collaboration: Interface with cross-functional teams
  • Continuous Improvement: Work together with vendors to develop alternative designs and innovative solutions
  • Independent Handling of Design: Take ownership of the design for Electrical systems/sub-systems and equipment
  • Timely Delivery: Prioritizing customer needs while ensuring on-time delivery (OTD) of engineering systems
  • Adherence to standards and Quality Assurance: Ensure that the design and engineering of packages meet guaranteed and contractual requirements

Requirements:

  • BE/ BTech in Electrical Engineering
  • 8 - 15 years experience
  • Proficiency in using engineering software and tools, like ETAP
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Knowledge of national and international standards and regulations
  • Leadership and mentorship capabilities
