Job Responsibility

  • Oversee and give technical input and guidance into production of both 3D and 2D drawings
  • Development and Training of engineering resources in CAD design deliverables
  • Manage and develop common working methods for CAD design production to ensure consistency and improve efficiency
  • Ensure CAD Quality control and checking processes are communicated and being met for CAD production in the team
  • Keep up to date with all technical quality management procedures, developments and specifications related to the discipline work scope
  • Ensure that the quality of all your deliverables before passing to others for review
  • CAD Delivery QC of outputs from the CAD team
  • Produce CAD models in AutoCAD Civil 3-D to support engineering studies and construction activities
  • Produce drawings, sketches, and reports to convey the outputs form Engineering to stakeholders internally and externally
  • Ensure, as far as practicable, that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with the agreed budget and programme

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 in many areas of CAD expertise
  • Experienced in producing CAD outputs with packages including but not restricted to AutoCAD and / or MicroStation
  • Minimum experience of 10years in a CAD role working to deliver construction engineering projects, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the T&D Sector in a CAD or Engineering role
