Job Description:

The Senior Design and Construction Project Lead is responsible for managing complex construction projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s business goals, and overseeing the strategic planning and delivery of workplace real estate portfolios. This role includes managing relationships with stakeholders, outsourced service providers, and internal partners, as well as ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the strategic planning design, delivery, and ongoing development of the workplace real estate portfolio
Champion innovative, sustainable, and inclusive design solutions
Act as liaison between Citi Realty Services Senior Management, Asset Management, Transaction team and internal client stakeholders
Manage relationships with strategic outsourced service providers
Assist in the development of strategic real estate strategies
Coordinate capital planning activities
Develop specific client requirements and establish clear expectations
Orchestrate and drive the successful and timely design of construction projects
Develop comprehensive project plans
Develop Requests for Proposals for outside consultant and vendor services
Manage implementation of construction projects
Communicate effectively with staff and management on project status and issues
Report on program performance to senior management
Promote a culture of transparency, innovation, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in business
Master’s Degree Preferred
10 – 15 years’ experience in interior office construction and project management
Direct experience managing corporate construction/renovations projects
Proven success in delivering large scale complex commercial office projects
5 years’ experience managing project management staff
Demonstrate leadership and adaptability
High energy and a passion for construction/project management
Very strong written, spoken and presentation communication skills
Very strong influencing and collaborating skills
Demonstrated problem-solving skills
Strong meeting organization and facilitation skills
Team player with ability to handle strong personalities
Experience and ease in interfacing with Senior Management
Track record of managing work to achieve milestones on time and within budget
Analytical, flexible, team-oriented, good interpersonal and follow up skills
Technical proficiencies in Microsoft Office products and Microsoft Project
Financial Services experience preferred
