Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
  • Experience working in a patient- or customer-centered environment
  • If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment

Nice to have:

  • Engaging the service user in stimulating conversation and supporting their social needs by encouraging daily mind engaging activities. You may also be asked to take the service user out into public places such as shopping and leisure activities
