Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Database Architect to join a federal company located in the DC/VA area. This role focuses on enterprise data governance with deep expertise in Collibra to design and manage frameworks, metadata, lineage, and master data management. The candidate will integrate Collibra with modern platforms, enable self-service data discovery, and leverage automation and AI/ML to improve data quality and governance efficiency.

Job Responsibility

  • Implement data governance frameworks using Collibra
  • Maintain metadata, lineage, and MDM practices
  • Integrate Collibra with platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS)
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and federal standards
  • Train users on Collibra and self-service data discovery

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
