We are seeking a Senior Database Administrator to support complex, enterprise-wide database environments while also leading the development and management of the Microsoft SharePoint Training Library. This role combines advanced database administration with SharePoint site development, document governance, and collaboration with training and business stakeholders to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing systems.
Job Responsibility:
Design, develop, configure, and maintain databases supporting enterprise applications
Ensure database performance, reliability, security, recoverability, and availability
Install, upgrade, and maintain database software and related components
Provide operational support across multiple DBMS platforms and versions
Manage mission-critical database features including: Backup & recovery, Disaster recovery, Replication, Disk space utilization
Analyze and resolve database issues related to configuration, schema, upgrades, patches, and vendor support
Provide consultation on SQL tuning, automation, object management, and project implementations
Serve as a subject matter expert, sharing knowledge and best practices with internal teams
Design, build, and manage SharePoint sites and document libraries for training resources
Organize content using effective metadata, versioning, and retention policies
Configure and manage user permissions and secure access
Optimize navigation and user experience across SharePoint environments
Collaborate with training teams to upload, organize, and maintain content
Implement workflows for document approval, updates, and content accuracy
Monitor library usage, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with governance standards
Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business needs
Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships
Negotiate contracts to ensure value, compliance, and performance
Lead cross-functional SharePoint initiatives and provide end-user training and support
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
Expertise in Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft Teams Forms
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint (site creation, libraries, permissions)
Strong knowledge of document management best practices, compliance, and data governance
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
Experience managing training content and supporting end users
