Job Description:

We are part of an international shared services team delivering infrastructure and database support to multiple external clients, primarily in France. Our focus is on ensuring secure, stable, and high-performing database environments across various industries. As a Senior Database Administrator (MariaDB), you will: Install, upgrade, and patch database systems. Manage security, backup, and recovery. Migrate databases (including on-premises to cloud). Automate routine operations and support capacity planning. Collaborate closely with IT teams (systems, networks, cloud platforms) in a dynamic, multinational environment. We're looking for a proactive, solution-oriented professional comfortable working in a diverse, international context.

Job Responsibility:

  • Install and configure databases
  • Perform maintenance tasks (e.g., rebuilding indexes, updating statistics, cleaning up old data)
  • Manage patching and apply security fixes
  • Oversee database security (user permissions, encryption)
  • Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies
  • Automate routine database tasks
  • Migrate databases (on-premises to cloud)
  • Troubleshoot and manage incidents
